MEET DR. ROWLETT

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Juli Rowlett earned her Masters of Reproductive Biology and Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois in 2004. She then went to Ross University where she graduated from Veterinary School in 2011. After graduation, she worked as an associate veterinarian in a mixed animal practice in Southern Illinois offering ambulatory services, surgery, and after hour care. In 2012, she came back to the Chicagoland area where she worked at an AAHA accredited corporate small animal practice. In 2016, she became the medical director of a corporate veterinary clinic. With a desire to expand further into canine theriogenology, she left the practice to be part of Bristol Vet Clinic with Dr. Player.
“Personally, I am passionate about breed preservation and promoting dogs who epitomize their breed standard demonstrated by earning titles. I am very active in the purebred and purpose bred dog world. We compete in conformation, rally, and obedience with both of my purebred Rottweilers: Porter, my male, is a breed Champion and has earned nine titles and counting. My female: Pistol, has her AKC Grand Championship and is also earning working titles. If Pistol passes health clearances this year, I will build a breeding program around this promising young female. When not spending time at work or dog shows, I spend my time with my husband, 3 stepchildren, and our rescue beagle mix, Penny.”
